This semester I am taking Dr. Kevin McHugh's class on Comtemporary Geographic Thoughts and it is such a great class! I learned to embrace my confusions and the fluidity and plurality of things. It is so fun to read and learn about all different subfields of geography and what other geographers are thinking and doing right now.

Reading and writing for the class are not easy. But I've been enjoying them and I feel like I'm making progress. This is my essay on the nature-culture divide. I talked about my favorite parks (which are all urban parks, with pictures where "sunshine pours like honey through the trees" :), part of the lyrics from a song called London in the Spring by Passenger) and talked about some of my perplexities regarding research.

I am well aware that this is an imperfect essay and please agree to disagree with me as my thoughts are 1) not too mature and 2) constantly changing! Please do chat with me if you have any thoughts/comments after reading it.

Hope you enjoy the essay! :)
